Role: Senior Consultant – Data Architect

Location: London

Travel: Wherever the client is!

Acrotrend is technology consulting and delivery business with a focus on enabling customer analytics initiatives and data driven businesses transform. We help our clients get from data, to insight, to action by delivering solutions on the latest cloud analytics technology, using service accelerators and by applying machine learning and data science.

We are looking for an experienced Data Architect acting as a Senior Consultant to help us drive our consulting offerings on technology & architecture. The role will be pivotal part of Acrotrend’s Consulting practice and will be primarily responsible to design & deliver the consulting assignments.

What you’ll do…

 • Execute consulting engagements that enable client and prospects to better leverage Acrotrend’s solutions and enhanced data to be disruptive in their data strategy and be more customer centric.

 • Conduct data analysis on Acrotrend’s client’s data and provide recommendations based on their business problems relating data quality and master data

 • Work with the Acrotrend’s client team to define and design business rules for customer data around master data, data quality and data integration

 • Work with Acrotrend’s clients to understand their requirements and model data at different levels including conceptual, logical and physical

 • Interfacing with Acrotrend’s client for assessing their data architecture and provide recommendations for any improvements

 • Design and create data flows and data lineage for new/existing systems

 • Work closely with technical implementation teams for delivering data integration programmes/projects

 • Provide presales support on Acrotrend’s offerings related to customer analytics to the consulting team

 • Articulate and educate on data architectural concepts to a variety of audiences including business leaders, technical architects, and IT professionals

 • Contribute to technical & architectural elements of RFPs as necessary, leverage and build upon existing knowledge base

 • Actively contribute to the wider Acrotrend community and capability development on relevant areas

 • Design Acrotrend data architectural frameworks and methodologies to support the propositions

You’ll do it using…

 • Strong expertise in data architecture minimum 5 years of relevant experience

 • Expertise of managing and conducting in depth data analysis typically using SQL and working with large data warehouses

 • Experience of working with systems pertaining to sales, marketing & customer services like SFDC, Eloqua, Marketo, Adobe Marketing Cloud

 • Experience on working with different kinds of data including clickstream, CRM, marketing automation, social media & open data

 • Strong understanding of data security principles including managing PII data and GDPR

 • Experience of working on at least one enterprise data modelling toolset

 • Expertise and experience of working on Amazon Web Services and/or Azure’s cloud platforms

 • Good understanding and experience of technology areas within data management i.e. data integration, MDM, data quality & data warehouse platforms

 • Experience of stakeholder management at all levels; both internal and external

 • Flexibility to explore, learn and work on new technologies in customer analytics landscape

 • Expertise using BI and analytics tools such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI etc. (optional)

 • Good understanding and expertise on relevant open source software stacks related to the above (optional)

 • Understanding of modelling and analysing on NoSQL databases (optional)

 • Understanding of data warehouse / data lake architecture on Amazon, Azure and any other cloud platforms such as Snowflake (optional)
